Another Peep Creation
Greetings! I am here today to present to you yet another fabulous Peep creation. This time created not only by yours truly, but also my darling husband. We spent nearly three hours last night creating Little Peeps on the Prairie. As you may already know we love watching this great show from the past.
This was my husbands ideas...most of the crazy ones are. By looking at the diorama, you can see we used A LOT of pretzels and Peeps. The photos really shows the "great" time we had together. Enjoy!

My Peep Creation
Greetings! The Pioneer Press has its 6th annual Peep diorama contest coming up and I thought I would give it a whirl this time. My co-worker Shelly (Archiver's) has a contest amongst her co-workers at her full-time job. Hey, great idea; who couldn't use a little more SUGAR in their lives?
So my post today features my personal creation, yes, as you've probably already guessed it has something to do with the New Kids on the Block. I call it: New Peeps on the Block. My husband wanted nothing to do with this one and he and I have another creation that we will be submitting on a collaborative effort. So keep your PEEPERS open for some of my future posts. They are sure to give you a chuckle! Enjoy!

Baby Baby!
Greetings! Spring break is right around the corner for me...I am so pumped to have the week off from work (well at least from teaching). I have begun making cards with some of the DCWV paper packs. I usually don't purchase big packs of paper but with coupons and all the cute glittery papers included in the packs; I said oh, o.k.
My post today features some of the paper that I recently purchased: Animal Crackers from DCWV.
As I stated before, I love all the glitter, patterns and colors! I also incorporated stamps from Hero Arts and a little ribbon and eyelets. All the coloring, as always, was done with my Copic markers. Too fun! Hope you enjoy!

Address Book
Greetings! A beautiful rainy day here in St Paul. (I probably won't be saying that after 6 straight days of rain.)
Today's post features a special address book my mother asked me to make for a bridal shower gift for someone at her church. I thought the day of address books were over; now with technology as it is. (Can you dial your friends manually with your cell phone? I know I can't.)
I used a little address book from Target and covered it with some papers from Carolee's Creations. The paper has stitching on it which helps make it look like I spent hours working on this. I added some ink to the edges to make the paper pop. I used my dies from QuicKutz to add the lettering, small flowers and photo corner.
In order to keep the paper flat and protected, I used Modge Podge for the adhesive. I also added some gems and Tim Holtz's new Distressing Stickles. (Just like the Stickles we all have grown to love, but with a more distressed and pearl-like finish. Ta Da. Now to let it dry and off in the mail it goes. Enjoy!

Celebrate Friendship
Greetings! It is yet another beautiful day in St Paul. Spring must really be here, or at least on the way. My kids have been on spring break all week so we've been spending a lot of time visiting local pet and book stores. These simple/stinky places bring them such pleasure. (They could probably spend hours watching the mice. They are so funny...I am talking about the mice.)
My post today features some friendship cards. I am again using some floral arrangement stamps. On these cards, I used stamps from Crafty Secrets. I love that you can either color in the image with markers or color on the stamps themselves with ink.
So here you can see (on the right) I used pigment inks (ChalkQs) directly on the stamps. I like the look of these inks. Remember that these pigment inks work well for blending colors. The card on the left is colored with my Copic markers. Papers are from Scenic Route and My Mind's Eye. Enjoy!

Giving A Little Thanks
Greetings! Today I have some more cards to show you. I recently purchased some new stamps that have floral images. On these cards I used my Penny Black Clusters image. I love having a large image to work with that has a great deal of versatility. Papers used are from the Penny Lane line from My Mind's Eye and Basic Grey. For the sentiments, I used the Thanks A Lot set from Hero Arts. For a finishing touch, I added some clear globe gems form Hero Arts. TA-DA! Do you notice any difference in my photo quality? Hope you enjoy!

OK No Boat For Me...
Now, by now you should know that I LOVE The New Kids on the Block. This spring you can go on cruise with them to the Bahamas and well I AM NOT GOING..and I guess that is OK. NO MOOLA FOR THE CHICA! But if I can't go on the boat at least I have this awesome picture. "The New Kid Boat...exciting and new..they're expecting ME" (Ha Ha).
Last weekend I spent a whole ton of time scrapbooking and finished four layouts. I haven't glued pictures down on paper for ages! Here is a peek at what I made....
I hope to rip open some Crafty Secret stamps really soon. Some things I bought with the money I made from sellin' some stuff on ebay. They are floral images so hopefully I can do lots with them.
Enjoy!

Plastic Blast From the Past
Greetings! It seems like each day there is something new to watch on You Tube; especially, if it has to do with NKOTB. (Why don't I just have a NKOTB blog?) Regis and Kelly, The Today show and just last week, Jimmy Kimmel. You can tell that they are back in the US and touring some more. I found this post on You Tube today. It really is a plastic blast from the past. It features the NKOTB back in oh...I would say 1990 with their release from Hasbro. The plastic NKOTB barbie dolls. I have two of them still. I even have the cassette tapes that go along with them...too bad for all of you I don't have a cassette player to listen to them on.):
So have a view/listen it will hopefully make you smile. NKOTB DOLLS

American Crafts Baby Album
Greetings! My last post featured a set of mini gift cards I made for my friend Jenny who had a baby a couple of weeks ago. The staff I work with at ECFE is putting together a basket of gifts for the new mommy.
I have several of the American Craft albums from the 1.99 bin (Hot Spot) so I decided to whip something up to go along with the note cards. I used papers from the Making Memories 6x6 pack and added TONS of stickers, die cuts, paper flowers and sentiments from Heidi Grace.
I am also official now...I made my own business cards. Well, I don't exactly have a business but it gives info about my blog and my crafting abilities. Enjoy!

Greetings! Got some craftin' done this weekend. My friend Shelly is letting me try out some Glitter Mist she wasn't using so I hope to show you some projects using it soon.
Today's post features some tiny note cards I made for my friend Jenny who just had a baby on the 17th. I figure she can use them as '"thank yous". I made 10 total with envelopes. They feature Imaginesence papers and stamps by Hero Arts (the boy set). I colored the images with my Copic markers and used a variety of punches. Simple, sweet and quick! Enjoy!
