Bunches of Thanks

Greetings! Today is a semi-gorgeous day in St Paul. The temperatures are down but the sun is not up. Looks like it is going to rain but it doesn't. Nevertheless, I am enjoying the break from the air conditioning...nothing like keeping the windows open all day.
Today's post features some papers from Adorn-It. The paper has a collage of images on it ranging from birds and flowers to text (Plant Seeds of Joy). I used a stamp image from Hero Arts I found at Archiver's. The stamp comes in package with the flowers in a watering can, bunches of thanks sentiment and a few other small images. I colored them with my Copic markers and used Ranger's distress ink with the ink applicator to add color to the white and edges. Finally, I finished up with a little tulle in the color green on one card and polka dot black on the other. Enjoy!

Pink and Orange Challenge...Just A Little Something

Greetings! Oh come back great shining thing in the sky! I hope summer is not lost!!!
Today my post features another fun card challenge sponsored by Pink Persimmon stamps. They are presenting 13 different challenges throughout the summer months and this week they ask you to create a card with the colors orange and pink!
My card uses papers from K&Co. Citrus line and stamps from Stampendous. This is an older set but I love all the cute little puny sayings it includes. I also added a fabric tag which I had in my stash of ancient left-overs. Coloring is done with Copic markers and glittering with my Stardust (clear) pen. Enjoy!

Train Album

Greetings! Rain , rain and more rain! So glad..we really needed it! I spent much of my weekend organizing and crafting. I made my daughter's teacher a kite with transferred pictures of the class in the shape of a cross. The kite is a decorative one..it will never be able to fly. I hope she likes it.
Today's post is another gift creation. Father's Day is coming up in a couple of weeks and I created something for my dear old dad. Last Father's Day, we went on a free train ride courtesy of Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad.
I created my own train with an album from Maya Road and papers from Crate. The papers are from a collection I purchased years ago called Cowboy. Other products used: Distress Ink, Metro QuicKutz alphabet and Zig Writer.
Hope you enjoy!

First Annual Ultimate Card Showdown

Greetings! Today is a gorgeous day in the Twin Cities! Can't wait to get out and do some more gardening today! We planted a lot and just need to add some finishing touches!
Today I'm posting a card I made for 2 skteches 4 you . They are having their first annual Ultimate Card Showdown! Can't wait to get it posted and ready for viewing.
I went with one of Hanna Stamps Sophie the Moose stamps for my image. I love all of the little moose but this one is too cute! I colored her with my Copic makers and used papers from My Mind's eye. I even did a little machine sewing on this card. The sentiment is one of my personal creations, "Welcome to Moosehood." Enjoy!
