Splish Splash

Greetings! The past few days have been really warm and windy. It has finally cooled off a bit and we have our hairdos back! Whew! (Don't mess with the hair, man!)
This week had been filled with busy busy busy! It is my final weeks of classes. I will be teaching a little this summer which I am very excited about. It will keep me in somewhat of a "school mode"and that makes for an easier transition to fall.:) In the past few days, I have made graduation hats (for my infants) and really classy parent/child letters that the parents in my class receive as gifts. Needless to say, it has left me for little time in my craftin' space.
BUT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do have something to show today. (You say: HOW EXCITING!)
Today's post features a card I made for our neighbor's girlfriend, Hilary. (That's Hilary with ONE "L" not two like my sister.) The card was made with some SUPER cute paper I got at Archiver's. It caught my eye because of the cute little goulashes. (Now that is a word I had to spell check.)
She celebrated her 40th birthday last week so I decided to make her a card using the paper. I cut out one pair of boots and titled the card, "Splish Splash". I added my own sentiment on the inside reading: I hope your birthday is a BIG splash.
I used QK Summer dies from a couple of years back to add the water splashes. Other products used: Stampin Up Photo Punch and Diamond Glaze. Enjoy!
