Greetings! OK I have done this stamp set before, but I'm doing something different this time. This card features stamps from
Our Craft Lounge. I love these stamps. So fun to color and who doesn't love eating an ice cream sundae? I used papers from DCWV and a lot of tulle. Tulle is the best! Not only does it look great, it works great too. You can get a lot more stretch out of it than ribbon. And it is SUPER cheap! Enjoy!

Dump Truck Birthday Boy Card

Greetings! Paige had her school program tonight. It was titled "We Are Sheep". One can only begin to imagine the songs and lines that were recited!:) Anyway, here I am with another post today. I know everyone needs a birthday card idea or two, so here is one for the little boys in your life. I used Technique Tuesdays set of Things That Go. It includes all sorts of cars, tucks and planes. What sold me was the train set in the images. Love it! I used my Copics to color the truck and papers that I found in the clearance section at work. Who doesn't love clearance papers? I even put my screw brads to good use on this one. ( I have been venturing out of my comfort zone these days!) Hope you enjoy! BAAAAA!

Bird Card

Greetings! Hope you had a fabulous weekend! We did a lot of biking around town and worked in out in the yard. Today's post had yet another set of Tim Holtz stamps. There are a ton of bird images to choose from these days and this set is super. I used the script background on tan and inked up the bird image with two different colors of distress ink. (Moving from light to dark to help keep my ink pads clean.). The papers are from BG Porcelain collection. I did a lot of sponging on this one-something I don't usually take the time to do. Enjoy!

Vintage Happy Birthday

Greetings! It is a rainy day here in St Paul. Where is the warm weather my tulips are crying out for? They are slowly but surely coming up:)
Today's post features a card I made with Tim Holtz's new acrylic stamp series. I love the look of all of his art and his distress inks are THE BEST. I thought this card would be perfect for male birthday cards. The inside reads "Enjoy the Journey"; one of Tim's signature statements. Papers used: Basic Grey: Granola , Ribbon: May Arts Cuttlebug Embossing Die: Houndstooth Ink: Distress Ink in Worn Courdory and Denim. Enjoy! Nurse's Day Cards

Greetings! It has been a long time since I've posted. I have been busy created a TON of cards so you are sure to see a lot in the next few days. Today my post features some cards I made for a nursing friend of my mother's. It was a special request. May 6th-13th is Nurse Recognition Week.
These cards turned out super cute! I used my new fold and some papers from BG. The image is from Crafty Secrets-Feeling Yucky. I just love the little nurse. She looks a lot like a Campbell's soup kid. I colored her with my Copic markers and added a sentiment. You're the Best is from Hero Arts. The inside has a journaling block since the card is made with a brown base. I also stamped the inside with a tray and accessories. Even the envelopes are stamped with a band-aid and syringe. Enjoy!
