Sweet Sunday Sketch 61

Greetings!

Here is a post for the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge!  I love the sketch for this week.  I find that I make most of my cards the same size, but this allowed for some CHANGE!

  My card uses papers from Imaginisce (Scooter's Vacation-Ruffin' It)).  Don't you just love the little dog?  He's so cute (especially with the little goggles). I fussy cut the dog, so he can sit on the scooter seat.

 When I received my Unity Stamps (March KOM), I was so thrilled to see the scooter image. It is definitely one of my top three favorites.:) Enjoy!

Back with another fun card!  This card is another from the card kit collection I put together for mommy dearest.
As I stated in my previous post, I am using some of the Kioshi collection (Basic Grey) on each card.
This card was fun to put together.  I tried stamping on some different materials for a more vintage look.
The sentiment is from the December KOM (Unity Stamps).  I love how it looks stamped on the glassine envelope from Making Memories.  I stamped the image in Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap).  The button I stitched into the ribbon is also altered a bit.  I colored it with my Copic markers.  I love how you can color on so many surfaces with the alcohol based markers. TOO FUN!

Fun Cards For My Mommy

Greetings! 
Last weekend I spent a great deal of time putting together card kits for my mother.  She is having surgery in the next week and will need something to keep her occupied.
My posts for the next few days will feature the cards I created for her kits.
For the first card, I used one of my Unity KOM.  I tried to stick with papers from the Kioshi collection (Basic Grey) because my mother is a purple fan.
I colored the image with my markers and added some ribbon.  Hope you enjoy!

My post today features a card I made for a friend and one I made for my sister's birthday.

I love all of the great images and sentiments that I found in my  February KOM from Unity stamps!  So many images to choose from.  For this card, I used the rainbow along with the sentiment "May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue." Love it!  I colored the rainbow with my Copic markers and used patterned papers from Basic Grey (Junebug).  The scallop note is from Archiver's and I added a little embossing with my Cuttlebug.  I like the white space!
My other card uses die cuts form Spellbinders and a sentiment from Unity (KOM February).  I love the soft look of this card. My sister's birthday falls on St. Patrick's day, so a card with some green is always in order.  I used one of the new colors of Distress ink from Ranger (bundled sage).  The new line of inks are so wonderful.  I use my sponge applicator so my colors are always blended and soft-like.  I also incorporated papers from Basic Grey (kioshi).  Hoping you enjoy!

Moxie Fab Doily and Lace Challenge

I love creating cards.  When I saw this challenge on Moxie, I thought of my Baby Dress card.  The lace on the card along with the punch pattern on the pocket are so delicate and soft.

Tags for A Friend

Greetings!  One of my co-workers recently celebrated her birthday and I decided to make her something special as a gift.  She always seems to find time to create all sorts of things with her knitting skills (something that I lack).
I created a tag tin for her, which includes all kinds of tags and sentiments.  Many of the stamps are from Unity Stamp Co.  Along with stamping, I distress inked and colored images with my Copic markers.
I am sure she will be able to use these both on cards as well as scrapbook pages-she loves to journal!
