New Basic Grey
Greetings! I hope that everyone has had a restful and memorable Christmas!
Today my post features a new line from Basic Grey called Origins. I just love the combo of green and brown and that is just what this line features!
My Secret Santa at work purchased some canvas tags from the line and I just can't wait to use them.
My card uses papers from the Origins line as well as stamps from Unity's December KOM. I used distress inks and pearls from Hero. I aged the paper with my fingernails and added color to the pearls and stamped image with my Copic markers. Enjoy!

Christmas Card 2009
Greetings! Thought I would share my Christmas card for the 2009 season.
I enjoy designing and planning my cards for Christmas WAY in advance. I planned this card back in October and her it is:
I used papers form Bo-Bunny, stamps from Hero Arts, a pop-up window from Quickutz, nail heads, embossing powders, and Smooch pearl paints.) The window opens to show a Bible verse. Inside, I added a greeting along with a mini picture of our family (wearing matching tie-dyed shirts). Enjoy!

Santa-tizer
Greetings! Here is a little something I made (thanks to the wealth of info I find on the Quickutz gallery and my co-worker Shelly) for our brunch guests this weekend.
I found this idea on the Quickutz gallery and thought I would copy it and make a few changes for my own creation.
I used Target's hand sanitizer brand container and added a few Santa-ish items (belt (with QK nesting squares), lettering and colored suit). The guests loved it and I hope everyone takes the time to use some (hee hee). Enjoy!

TAGS! TAGS! TAGS!
Greetings! My post today features some of the tags I made for my Secret Santa exchange at work.
I first decorated a little tin and titled it: "Little Bucket of Tags". I then made various tags: some tag-shaped, scalloped-shapes, cut from felt tags, and circles. Themes vary from Christmas, just for you, monster and penguins. So cute!
This is a great way to create a gift that someone can really put to use. Plus it is much quicker than creating a card.
Products used:
Stamps from Hero Arts, Our Craft Lounge, and Unity Stamps.
Papers: Basic Grey (various releases, Sassafrasslas, and felt from Creative Imaginations)
Ink: Distress Inks, Momento
Accessories: Ribbon, Copic Markers, Prism Colored Pencils and Gems.
Enjoy!
