Lily and Tweet

Greetings!  Today's card is a cute one!  I am using the stamps that I WON from Pink cat Studio.  So excited to win TWO sets of stamps!

I couldn't resist the Lily and Tweet stamps!  How could anyone NOT like a bird dressed in a boa and heel?  (REALLY?!??!)

On this card I used by Nestabilities along with some ribbon, distress ink and coloring with my Copics. Papers are from My Mind's Eye. Hope you enjoy!

Laura's Sketch 45

Greetings!  Today's post features a card which uses a sketch from 2 Sketches.
I decided to try a new technique which is used in this month's issue of DIY.  The technique was originally done with fabric.  To create the ribbon-like look on the boarder I:

Punched circles with 1 1/4 inch punch.
Folded circle sides inward to meet in the middle.
Cut folded circles in half.
Added circle halves next to each other with adhesive.

Plant a Seed of Love

Greetings! Need more Unity stamp ideas? Well, I am back with yet, another card.

Today's post features a card which uses the Unity KOM stamp from January. I love this little tiny seedling image. It has many possibilities. I used papers from BG and a little heart clip by Making Memories. I love it when I can find the "ancient" supplies. It is like finding $5 in your pocket, well sort of.

When you don't have the right die or punch; remember that a circle punch can do wonders for an empty edge. On this card, I used a simple 7/8 circle punch and layered the circles to create a scallop...FUN!

Tea for Two

Greetings! I recently made a stash of cards for my mother using her SCRAPS! I had a lot of fun throwing together cards using little left over pieces.

I created one of the cards with my Unity KOM (January). The little birdie stamp wanted some inky love, so here is what I came up with.

Paper are from Basic Grey (Junebug). I added coloring with my Copics and embossing with my Cuttlebug. Who knew yellow could work for me? (It is NOT my first color of choice.)

Valentine Treats!!!

Greetings! Today's post features some treat boxes I found at Archiver's. They have a 41/2 x 31/2 opening in them which is just itchin' to be stamped and embossed.

For my little treat boxes, I used a digital image you can find at Pink Cat Studio. I love the little monkey! I colored him with my Copic markers and added some embossing with my Cuttlebug to the background paper.

The felt hearts were cut with my Cuttlebug and I added baker's twine from Martha Stewart. Button and ribbon added too!

The little scallop says Hugs and Kisses from ____. The candies are HUGS AND KISSES! Yummy!

Are we ready for take off?

Greetings! Yesterday I finished my valentines! I managed to find a pretty cool idea on a blog I follow Thinking Inking. She used Papertrey's Tiny Treats set and designed her own airplane valentines.

I on the other hand, found a stamp from the Hero Arts baby boy set and added a backward brad for the propeller (thanks mom for the inspiration). I also created little bubblegum airplanes with my window word punch and buttons. The girls at work are going to love these!
