TAGS! TAGS! TAGS!

Greetings! My post today features some of the tags I made for my Secret Santa exchange at work.

I first decorated a little tin and titled it: "Little Bucket of Tags". I then made various tags: some tag-shaped, scalloped-shapes, cut from felt tags, and circles. Themes vary from Christmas, just for you, monster and penguins. So cute!

This is a great way to create a gift that someone can really put to use. Plus it is much quicker than creating a card.

Digital Stamps-You're Snow Fabulous

Greetings!

Each year about this time, we have a card exchange at work. A few weeks back, I tried out digital stamps. I decided to use the stamp I downloaded for my exchange project. I headed to Pink Cat Studio for my stamp. I just love their images. So fun to color and decorate!

I chose an image of Lily dressed in a cozy winter coat. I colored her with my Copic markers and used a little liquid applique on her muff. (Just makes it extra cozy.)

I used papers from The Paper Company, embossing folder from Cuttlebug, gems from Hero Arts, EK boarder punch, Nestabilities label die, and tulle. The sentiment was free and included with the stamp.

Digital stamps are super versatile and because of that quality, I was able to re-size the stamp to create bag toppers for some goodies. Enjoy!

Baby Dress Card

Greetings! Long time, no posty! Yes, I have been crafting but not posting what I've made. Shame on me!

Today's post is a baby shower card I created for a co-worker. She is having a baby girl in December and I saw this and just had to make it for her.
For this card, I used the Crafty Secrets chip board template. I added my own ribbon , buttons and scalloped pocket. It was rather easy to assemble but required a lot of extra touch-ups. Enjoy!

Copic Color Challenge Week 37

Greetings! Today's post features a card made for the Copic Color Challenge blog. Each week, the designers leave three colors to use on your creations. This week the colors are: Sand (E33), Yellowish Green (YG06) and Blush (R20). You don't have to use the exact colors, but something close, to achieve the same "look".

For the challenge, I created a card using papers from the new line from Basic Grey (Nook and Pantry). I incorporated some stitching and ribbon. My image and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Co. I also used: Coluzzle (oval template), Cuttlebug (embossing folder), ticket punch from Stampin' Up and Distress Inks/Momento. Enjoy!

Kazan's Sketch 38 - 2 Sketches 4 You

Greetings! Here is my post for the sketch of the week. I like how this sketch combines both squares and circles. (I always try to add some round elements to my cards and pages.)

I used my trusty Unity stamps (KOM October) on this card. Unity Stamp Co. has some great deals through October 31st. They are offering their newest stamp sets for only $3.10 with an additional purchase. Check it our here.

I also incorporated papers from Basic Grey (nook and pantry), Copic marker coloring and some stitching. I even used Diamond Glaze on the eyes of the owl. Also used: ribbon from May Arts, Cuttlebug embossing die, and goggle eyes. Enjoy!

Sock Monkey: Unity Stamps

Greetings! Today's post features one of the stamps from Unity's October KOM.
This little sock monkey is so cute. I made the card for my father-in -law (he loves monkeys).

Last Sunday, he suffered a mild stroke and has since been going through several tests to see what they next step might entail.

Breast Cancer Awareness..Fight Like A Girl

Greetings! I have some fun new things for you to try today. I have discovered the wonder and space-saving beauty of digital stamps. Several companies offer digital options; downloading images, and saving them in a file on your computer, and finally, printing them on your personal printer and paper of choice. The company Whimsie Doodles has an image for breast cancer awareness month. It is called Fight Like A Girl. If you downloaded the image before the 23rd, it was free, so I tried it out and WOW I just love it!

The image came with the girl sporting her pink ribbon shirt, a handkerchief head wrap and the sentiment Fight Like A Girl. (i just love her little boxing gloves).
